We have an exceptional staff of instructors and consultants at Hop, Skip & a Jump.
Our instructors have over 45 years of combined experience serving special needs children. The majority currently work in public schools with special needs students. Most of our instructors have worked together for several years and have a remarkable rapport with one another. As a result, we have a unified approach on our program's direction and goals. Because little is needed in terms of staff guidance, our focus can be on the needs of the children. We strive to maintain a 3 - 1 child-to-instructor ratio.
Consultants in the fields of early childhood education, special education, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, physical education and adaptive physical education helped design our programs. These consultants provide continuous feedback on our activities and influence ongoing decision-making. We rely on their expertise for each child's needs and placement.
